A nationally-recognized Master Watercolor Artist with decades of experience.

Rodney Moser, North Carolina native, began drawing and painting at an early age and his passion for art continued through adulthood. Some of his inspiration was found in the works of Winslow Homer, Edward Hopper, John Singer Sargent, Frederick Church, Thomas Eakins, and Albert Bierstadt. He is a BFA graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where he received his Master's Degree in Medical Illustration. Post-graduate work, while living in San Diego, CA included Art Directorships in Computer Graphics, Printwear and Fine Art Publishing.

Rodney's watercolors have appeared and won awards in local, state, regional and national shows.
Moser's client and patron list reads like a Who's Who of Art Collectors in North Carolina, such that his work was chosen to be included in the show , "The New Collectable Artists of North Carolina" at the Greenville, NC Museum of Art held in January of 2001. Currently Moser accepts commissions in watercolor for portraiture, still life, and landscape while participating in regional and national shows.

In the fall of 1999, Moser was inducted as a Signature Member into the National Watercolor Society, one of the highest honors attainable to watercolorists in this country. In April of 2000 Rodney was one of eight Regional Artists chosen to open at the Lincoln Center in New York City, an exhibit sponsored each year by the Asolare Fine Arts Academy showcasing emerging American Artists. In 2001 and 2002 Moser was named a Finalist in Artist's Magazine's Annual International Competition, featuring over 13,000 entries. In November of 2002 Rodney was the featured National Watercolor Artist in the internationally distributed magazine, American Artist. Moser's painting, "Siena" was chosen in 2002 to be featured in the limited edition calendar of The Artist's Magazine.
